AdvaPACS DICOM Viewer

AdvaPACS includes a built-in DICOM viewer, but it has fewer features than third-party DICOM viewers. It only has controls for zooming, rotating, moving to the next image, and flipping the image vertically and horizontally.

It also has options for downloading a study, series, or instance as JPEG or DICOM.

And allows you to view an instance's DICOM tags. This tab is only available when viewing an instance.

Viewing a study​

To view a study, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Study Details and Series Listing page by viewing a study.

  2. Click the "image" icon in the Study sub-section to view a study.

Select a series from this section.

And use the arrows to cycle through the instances in the series.

Viewing a series​

To view a series, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Series Details and Instances Listing page by viewing a series.

  2. Click the "image" icon in the Series Details sub-section to view a series.

Use the arrows to cycle through the instances in the series.

Viewing an instance​

To view an instance, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Series Details and Instances Listing page by viewing a series.

  2. Click the "image" icon in the Instances Section to view an instance.

The Instance view has two tabs:

Image​

The Image tab displays the instance.

DICOM Tags​

The DICOM Tags tab displays DICOM Tags associated with the instance.
