DICOM Viewers
AdvaPACS makes it convenient to access and view DICOM images by integrating third-party CE/FDA approved DICOM viewers directly into the platform. Currently, three DICOM viewers are available in AdvaPACS: MedDream, eUnity, and Weasis.

MedDream and eUnity are web-based DICOM viewers that enable you to access and view DICOM images directly from your web browser without requiring software installation. There are additional fees for making use of these diagnostic viewers. To enable a diagnostic viewer, please contact us to update your subscription.
Weasis, on the other hand, is a desktop application DICOM viewer that must be downloaded and installed on your computer. It's an open-source software and completely free to use. To install and set it up, follow the instructions provided here.
If you have a preferred vendor-neutral DICOM viewer that can be integrated via DICOMweb or DICOM Query/Retrieve, we can assist you in connecting it to AdvaPACS so that you can continue to use it.
Viewing Studies
To view a study using any of the DICOM viewers listed above, navigate to the Studies page or a study's Details Section, and click on the corresponding DICOM viewer icon of a specific study. This opens up the study in the selected viewer.
