Filter Management

Filter management allows administrators to control data access in boards by configuring specific filters. Filters ensure that users can only view relevant data based on their assignments.

Managing Filters

  • Once created, filters appear in the Filter List and are available in board filter columns.
  • Users can edit or delete filters as needed.

Board Settings: Requires Filters

Administrators can configure Requires Filters for a board under Board Settings:

  • When Requires Filter is enabled, the board automatically applies at least one assigned filter. Users cannot remove all filters.
  • If the Requires Filter is disabled, users can manually select or deselect filters for the board.
important

If a board requires a filter but none are assigned, users will not be able to access any data and will encounter an error. Ensure at least one filter is assigned when enabling the required filter setting.
