This release introduces AdvaView, AdvaHealth's own FDA-approved, zero-footprint diagnostic viewer, built directly into AdvaPACS — alongside concise, AI-generated summaries of a patient's prior reports.

Gradual rollout

AdvaPACS is rolled out gradually, so not every organization sees a release at the same time. This release begins rolling out on September 20, 2026 UTC and may take a few days to reach you — if you don't see these changes right away, check back shortly.

New Features​

Introducing AdvaView​

AdvaPACS now integrates with AdvaView, AdvaHealth's own zero-footprint diagnostic viewer, available anywhere you'd normally launch a viewer in AdvaPACS. AdvaView is FDA-approved, with regulatory approvals for additional markets currently in progress. Studies can also be shared with other users so they open straight into AdvaView, making it easier to collaborate on a case.

AI-generated summaries of prior reports (beta)​

Reviewing a patient's history now goes faster: AdvaPACS can generate a concise, AI-generated summary of a patient's prior reports, giving clinicians a quick way to get up to speed before reading the current study. The feature can be turned on or off, and is enabled by default during the free beta; once it reaches general release, usage will be billed based on token consumption.

Sort the Reporting Worklist by verified time​

The Reporting Worklist can now be sorted by the time a report was verified, making it easier for staff to review recently finalized reports.

Improved document fit in the Reporting Worklist document viewer​

Documents opened in the Reporting Worklist document viewer now automatically fit to the available width, improving readability without needing to manually resize them.

AdvaView data loading performance improvements​

AdvaView now loads study data faster in more cases, thanks to improvements in how AdvaPACS retrieves and processes it behind the scenes. No action is needed on your part.

Original identifiers preserved when studies are re-identified​

When a study's identifiers are updated or remapped, AdvaPACS now retains a record of the original identifiers for audit and compliance purposes.

More consistent locked error page in the Reporting Worklist​

The page shown when an order is locked by another user in the Reporting Worklist has been given a more consistent look and feel.

Orders can no longer be opened in multiple tabs at once​

The Reporting Worklist already prevents an order from being edited by more than one user at the same time. However, it didn't stop the same user from opening that same order in multiple tabs within their own browser. It now does, preventing conflicting edits from a single user's session as well.

Reporting Worklist chat​

AdvaPACS chat is now available directly within the Reporting Worklist, so staff can message one another about an order without switching tools — chat just works everywhere.

Updated Terms of Service​

The Terms of Service shown during registration have been updated.

Bug Fixes​

  • Fixed several issues that could prevent AdvaView from launching or displaying correctly, including when opening studies for multiple patients, launching from the Clinician Portal, or opening in a new tab.
  • Fixed an issue where filters were not retained when returning to a list view.
  • Fixed an issue where leaving an order in the Reporting Worklist did not always release its lock for other users.
  • Fixed an issue where confirmation modals could appear unexpectedly, including when no content had been entered on a board or when updating an order that already had a report.
  • Fixed an issue where the JPEG/DICOM download button remained enabled for users without download permission.
  • Fixed an issue where downloading a study as JPEG could fail if any images were missing pixel data.
  • Fixed an issue causing the screen to flash when refreshing the page.
  • Users are now notified when a login attempt fails due to IP filtering restrictions.
  • Fixed an issue where the report editor could display incorrect elements while typing.
  • The Resolution dropdown in the Reporting Worklist now supports typing to search.
  • Fixed an issue where cleared signatures in the Reporting Worklist were not properly saved as empty.
  • Fixed an issue with the default response time value in Critical Results SLA settings.
  • Miscellaneous bug fixes and stability improvements.
