Report Priority
AdvaPACS supports a custom HL7 extension for setting a study's reporting priority.
Reporting priorities are independent of the order priority contained within the HL7 order message. Instead, they correspond to the priorities configured in the Reporting Worklist, allowing studies to be categorised according to local reporting workflows and SLA requirements.
Before sending Reporting Priority values via HL7, ensure that the corresponding Reporting Priorities have been configured. For information on creating and managing Reporting Priorities, refer to the Configure Reporting Priorities guide.
Segment Format
The reporting priority is sent using a custom ZAP segment. For example:

Field Mapping

ZAP-1 | Sequence Number | Set ID for the ZAP segment. Typically set to 1. |
ZAP-2 | ReportingWorklist | Identifies the extension as a Reporting Worklist priority. |
ZAP-3 | (null) | Reserved field. Not currently used and should be left empty. |
ZAP-4 | Reporting Priority Code | The code of the reporting priority. |
